What Is The Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®)
The MLS® matrix system is an example of the cooperation that exists in the real estate industry. When a listing agent uploads their new listing to the MLS® system, the corresponding local real estate boards manage the listing information and ensure its accuracy for properties in their geographic location.
As a REALTOR®, I am a member of the Victoria Real Estate Board (VREB), the British Columbia Real Estate Association (BCREA) and the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA).
As a result, I have access to the real estate listings of the Victoria Real Estate Board (VREB) and the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board (VIREB).
Our MLS® System is a member-to-member system that includes an inventory of listings for the purchase, sale or lease of real estate.
It is controlled by the Victoria Real Estate Board (VREB) and Vancouver Island Real Estate Board (VIREB), and REALTORS® who are members of the above real estate boards have access to the listings.
